Office Assistance:

• volunteers help us stay organized and accomplish big tasks that are hard for staff to manage on our own
• some of these include - folding and distributing brochures, producing and distributing our newsletter, and copying and arranging group materials

Events:

• the centre puts on several fund-raising events every year
• volunteers are a vital part of carrying out the many tasks associated with these events
• examples of past and upcoming events are: golf tournament, raffles, and garage sales

Board of Directors:

• the centre is operated and guided by a board of volunteers
• new board members are elected every year and serve for a minimum of one year
• some of the tasks of board members include: assisting with fundraising, developing policies and procedures, and helping with public relations and community awareness of the centre
